A Utah C.V. Federal Credit Union branch in Midvale was held up Thursday afternoon by a gun-wielding man.

The holdup occurred at 5:30 p.m., just before the credit union closed, said Salt Lake County Sheriff's Lt. Ben Anjewierden. The robber entered the bank, walked behind the teller line, pointed a black semi-automatic pistol at two cashiers and demanded money.Anjewierden said the suspect was wearing a cream-colored ski mask, sunglasses and gloves. The man left the credit union with an undisclosed amount of money and drove a black, late model Ford Escort northbound on 900 East.
