Six Air Force reservists from the 67th and 68th Aerial Port Squadrons have been called to active duty in support of Operation Desert Storm.
The group left Hill Air Force Base for Saudi Arabia Thursday, the base public information office said.Members of the group are part of the 446th Military Airlift Wing with headquarters at McChord Air Force Base, Wash.
Aerial port squadrons load and unload cargo at Air Force freight terminals worldwide. The unit flies the C-141 Starlifter cargo aircraft.
The 67th and 68th are supported at Hill by the 419th Tactical Fighter Wing.
