Weekend accidents took the lives of four people in Utah in four separate accidents.

A 20-year-old Bountiful man, David Bent-ly, died early Sunday from injuries suffered in an accident at Seventh North and Victory Road.Bently, a passenger in the car, was declared dead at the scene. The driver, Christopher Schuh, 17, of Bountiful, was listed in critical condition Monday morning at LDS Hospital. Another passenger, 20-year-old Steve Martinez, also of Bountiful, remained in critical condition Monday at University Hospital.

Salt Lake Police Lt. Tom Brown said the vehicle was traveling north at a high speed on Victory Road at 1:19 a.m. He said the driver lost control and went through the guardrail and off the hillside. The automobile came to rest 100 yards down the hill.

Norman Muir, 16, Elsinore, died Saturday after his three-wheeled ATV collided with a pickup truck on a county road west of Monroe, a Utah Highway Patrol dispatcher said.

A Saturday afternoon accident along I-70 near Green River claimed the life of Marlene Wyant, 49, of Littleton, Colo., said a Utah Highway Patrol dispatcher.

Wyant was standing off the highway next to her vehicle, which was parked in the emergency lane. A car driven by John E. Huseby, 18, Anchorage, Alaska, slammed into the back of the Wyant car and struck the woman.

On Friday, a 24-year-old Midvale man was killed when his motorcycle struck a car that had turned onto a road in front of him, Sandy police said.

Scott Humbert died at Alta View Hospital from massive chest injuries, said Sgt. Craig Watson. The accident occurred at Seventh East and 99th South.
