Lyman Wilford Anderson, age 87, died February 5, 1991, in a Tooele nursing home of causes incident to age.

Born July 13, 1903, in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Victor Wilford and Hilda Swenson Anderson. Married Donnette Richards September 15, 1926, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died January 18, 1987. He was employed with Mountain Fuel for 44 years, and served as manager in Tooele from 1944 to 1963, in Kearns from 1963 to 1968. Bishop of the Tooele 3rd Ward for five years. With his wife, served as ordinance workers at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a kind and gentle man, and loved by those who knew him.Survived by: Children, Dr. Richard L. Anderson, Illinois; Mrs. Farrel (Gloria) Davies, Tooele; Mrs. Ronald (Lynnette) Stoddard, Roy; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister and brother, Lilly Burrows, Springville; Warren N. Anderson, Orem.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., in the Millcreek 8th Ward, 4600 So. 600 East. Friends may call Friday, from 6-8 p.m., at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, and Saturday, at the church, one hour prior to service. Interment, Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
