Bertha Bair Stoker died February 1, 1991 after an extended illness.

She was born October 18, 1908 in High Creek, Richmond, Utah, the daughter of Ida and Julian Bair. She was reared and educated in Wellsville and Hyrum Schools and spent her lifetime as a resident of both Utah and California, where she served in several Relief Society presidencies as well as other auxiliaries. She married Maurice Edgar Stoker on October 30, 1928 in Salt Lake City and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She is survived by her husband of 62 years and two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Johnson and Mrs. Karen Payne, both of California; a son, Val Gene, died as an infant. Mrs. Stoker leaves a posterity of nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Myer Mortuary in Roy at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 9th with visitation available from 9 until services.
