Billie "Bill" John Wyllie, 59, passed away February 5, 1991 at his home following a courageous bout with cancer.
Born August 11, 1931 in Salt Lake City to Elmer and LaVee Anderson Wyllie. Graduated from West High School in 1949. Married Judy Jimenez 1950; later divorced. Married Clara Chiodo April, 1957. Served in the US Army during mid 1950's. Employed as a carman for D. & R. G. W. Railroad. Later employed at Midwest Trailers. Currently employed at Mountain Fuel Supply Co. Billie loved to cook and was known by many for his talents in the kitchen.Survived by his wife, Clara; daughters, Mrs. Ken (Linda) Cronk, Aurora, Colorado; Tonna, Lisa; and son, Andrew, all of Salt Lake City; son, David, Benicia, California; brothers, Vern, Salt Lake City; Elmer, Carmel, California; two grandchildren along with many other family members and friends who will miss him. Preceded in death by parents, and brother, Bud.
The family wishes to thank all of Bill's friends and co-workers who offered support during his illness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 610 East South Temple, SLC UT 84102.
Graveside services will be held Friday, 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 4th Ave and T Street. Friends may call Thursday 5-7 p.m. at the Neil O'Donnel and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South.
