Betty Hatch Bacon of Hillsborough, California died at her home February 2, 1991 following a lengthy illness.

Born March 1, 1921 in Woods Cross, Utah. Married Robert M. Bacon. Mrs. Bacon graduated Cum Laude from Utah State University where she was an A student and campus beauty queen. In her career, Mrs. Bacon worked in the retail fashion business as a department manager and buyer of designer clothes at I. Magnin and Company. Mrs. Bacon belonged to the Chi Omega Sorority, the Burlingame Country Club, the Cypress Point Club. Her other activities included the Multiple Sclerosis Society, where she served as President, as well as service to the center for the Blind, where she was director.Mrs. Bacon was preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Bacon on January 6, 1991. Her survivors include her son Gardner Htach Mein; daugher Mary Elizabeth Mein; her brother Byron Hatch and sister Mary Hatch Jorgennsen, Salt Lake City, Uath and sisters Katherine Hatch Klaveano and Sharon LeVarr Lords, Weattle, Washington.

The family ask that any memorial gifts be made to the Northern California Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, at 520 Third Street, Oakland, Calif.
