Alice Peterson Christensen, 74, of Amalga, died February 1, 1991 in Logan, Utah.

She was born March 4, 1916 in Amalga, Utah, a daughter of J. Leslie and Ilarene Rawlins Peterson. Alice attended local elemntary schools and graduated from North Cache High School. She was employed by Mountain Bell Telephone Company in Logan for several years. Alice joined the WAC during World War II and was stationed with the Signal Corps in Montgomery, Alabama. Upon release from the service, she returned to Utah and was again employed by Mountain Bell Telephone Company, first in Logan and later transferred to Salt Lake City in 1959.Alice retired in 1975 to care for her aging parents. She was a member of the Telephone Company Pioneers and the Disabled American Veterans Association.

She is survived by her twin brother, Maurice R. "Bud" Peterson, Logan; four sisters, Mrs. George W. (Louise) States, Bountiful; Mrs. Clin A. (Ellen) Balls, Hyde Park; Mrs. Rolan A. (Benna Marie) Perkes, Phoenix, Ariz; Mrs. James W. (Marjorie) Smiley, Fallbrook, Calif.; aunt, Mrs. Benna P. Gabrialson, Logan; many nieces and nephews and many local friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John Leslie, Jr. and Dr. Burnes E. Peterson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12 noon in the Allen-Hall Mortuary chapel with Bishop Jerry Munk conducting. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 10-11:45 a.m. Interment, Logan Cemetery.
