Jennie Doney Lowe Huff, age 92, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother and sister, died February 3, 1991 in Draper.

She was loved by everyone. Jennie was born September 1, 1898, one of 13 children, to James Galloway and Eliza Ann Doney Lowe. On September 19, 1917 she married Sparrel E. Huff in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on October 30, 1947. Jennie has been a resident of Draper since 1922. She was a Gold Star Mother, Member of the DUP and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #85. She was an active member of the LDS Church, especially in the Relief Society and Primary and she earned the title of "Mother" to every child in Draper for 40 years. Jennie was famous for delicious Parker House rolls and hand dipped chocolates.Survivors: children, Mrs. Leeon (Virginia) Christensen, Salina; Mrs. Grant (Donna) Gilbert, Midvale; Mrs. Ben (Marilyn) Rishton, Ruth, Clair L. and his wife, Beth, all Draper; Dr. Kay L. and wife, Nancy, Leesburg, Florida; 12 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren; brothers, Carlos and Glen. Preceded in death by children, Gayle, Verlene and LaVar.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 7, 1991, at 12 Noon in the Draper 7th & 12th LDS Ward Chapel, 12300 South 600 East. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the church from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Draper Cemetery.
