Josephine C. Nocker Henson, age 95, died February 3, 1991.

Born in Peoria, Illinois, June 16, 1895 to John Phillip and Theresa Hessling Nocker. After completing her education in St. Louis, Missouri she worked there as a secretary and milliner's model. On January 4, 1918 she married George A. Henson, a fireman and later engineer on the Union Pacific Rail Road in Kemmerer, Wyoming. They later moved to Pocatello, Idaho in 1923 and to Salt Lake City in 1949. Mr. Henson died in 1976. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Salt Lake and of its Altar Society.Survived by her daughter, Josephine T. Trosper, Salt Lake Ciy; four grandsons and their wives, George A.; Robert T. and Mary Sue; all of Salt Lake City; John F. and Barbara, presently Lacey, Washington; and Edward J., Los Angeles, Calif.; three great-grandsons, Brendan, Benjamin, and Joseph; her brother, Henry A. Noker, Layton; and many grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 670 So. 1100 East, a vigil service will be held Wednesday, 7:30 p.m., also at the church where friends may call Wednesday 6:30-7:30 p.m. Committal, Mt.
