Actress Elizabeth Taylor rested at her Los Angeles home Friday after being treated for more than three weeks at a hospital for back problems, officials said.
Taylor was admitted July 25 to St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica for a compression fracture of the first lumbar vertebra that produced lower back muscular spasms, hospital spokeswoman Mary Miller said.
The actress was released Thursday after strict bed rest and physical therapy, Miller said.
Taylor hurt herself last month when she fell on the set of the film "Young Toscannini," her publicist, Chen Sam, said. The actress plans to continue physical therapy and rest at home.
