The Davis Applied Technology Center plans to kick off Vocational-Technical Education Week with a radio broadcast Saturday, Feb. 9, from Layton Hills Mall.

The public is invited to drop by the remote KALL Radio booth from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to observe exhibits and learn more about opportunities in vocational training.On Wednesday, Feb. 13, the center will conduct a Project 2000 seminar at its Kaysville offices at 7 p.m. Featured speakers are Utah Jazz star Mark Eaton and his wife, Marci Eaton, both of whom have vocational training.

Gov. Norm Bangerter has declared Feb. 10-16 as "Vocational-Technical Education Week."
