Edwin Reid, one of the victims of the collision between a USAir 737 and a SkyWest Metroliner in Los Angeles, was a frequent business visitor to Salt Lake City, a Trolley Square spokeswoman said.

Reid, 38, worked as a leasing representative for Trolley Square for the past four years, Jean Sommers, marketing director for the square, said Monday.Reid traveled to Utah and three other malls around the country for Melvin Simon Corp., a company that owns malls throughout the Western United States, as a leasing specialist.

He was returning from Phoenix to his Palmdale, Calif., home on the SkyWest Metroliner at 6:07 Friday when the plane was struck by a USAir 737-300 that was making a landing at Los Angeles International Airport.

Reid's wife, Lois, said her husband flew more than 20,000 miles a month.
