Mary Phyllis Foulger Beesley, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully at home February 1, 191 of natural causes.

She was born June 23, 1912 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Frank Foulger and Mary Cleofa Folster. Attended East High School and graduated from the University of Utah with a French Major and Home Economics minor, later earning a Master's degree in Home Economics.She taught school for 26 years at Bountiful Jr. High School, and authored " A Self Instruction Program in Fabric Selection." She was a member of Spurs and Delta Gamma sorority. She was active in many positions in the LDS Church.

She married Sterling E. Beesley in the Salt Lake Temple in 1936, and they were the parents of four children. They served a mission together in the Texas Dallas Mission, and she served in the Temple Square Mission for five years.

She is survived by her husband; daughter, Nancy Lynn Beesley of Centerville; daughter, Laurie Jean Beesley Chapman (Greg Chapman) of Bountiful; daughter, Carolyn Kathleen Beesley Maxwell (Lee Maxwell) of Farmington; son, David Orson Foulger Beesley (Susan Barlow Beesley) of Farmington; brother, Robert Foulger; sister, Helen Thatcher; and 19 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, February 5th, at the Bountiful 39th Ward Chapel, 15th South and 6th East. Viewing will be held at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Monday night, 6-8 p.m. and at the chapel Tuesday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
