Former CIA Director William Colby is in favor of taking out Saddam Hussein.
"I am against assassination normally," said Colby, who was CIA director from 1973 to 1976 under President Ford."I'm the guy who wrote the first prohibition against it. But I also believe that when one country's young men are shooting another country's young men, the leaders of the country are not immune.
"So if we get Saddam under our guns, he is a legitimate target. I would cheerfully have helped carry the bomb into Hitler's bunker in 1944."
