An independent military support organization called "Operation Family Front" has been organized to help military families find access to entertainment and is collecting tickets to theater, sporting and other events for distribution to military families.

The group has 600 passes good for ice skating at the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center Feb. 9 from 2 to 4 p.m.; 400 tickets to the Feb. 7 University of Utah vs. Hawaii basketball game at 7 p.m. in the Huntsman Center; 200 tickets to the Feb. 9 Brigham Young University vs. Hawaii basketball game in the Marriott Center at 7 p.m.; and 3,000 tickets for the Feb. 14 Salt Lake Golden Eagles game at 7 p.m. in the Salt Palace.For information contact Helen Lunt, 967-5815, Cindy Fortie, 966-4187, Richard Boswell of the Utah National Guard, 524-3766, or Jeff Hunter of the Army Reserve at Fort Douglas at 524-6624.
