Franklin "Frank" David Gentry, 65, Richfield, died January 30, 1991 at his home.

Born April 16, 1925 in Beaver, Utah to Milton Henry and Ivy Jane Erickson Gentry. Married Mona Lou Jensen May 1, 1952 in Beaver, Utah; solemnized February 8, 1964 in the St. George LDS Temple. Frank devoted 40 years of his life to the development and care of Fremont Ranch in Iron County. He showed great love and charity toward his fellowmen. He was an avid lover of people, animals and the outdoors. He was a student of the Bible and a talented published writer. He was a veteran of World War II.Survived by wife, Mona Lou, Richfield, three sons, four daughters, Patti and her husband, Darwin Ogden and Curtis Gentry, both of Richfield; Ruth and her husband, Fred Thornton, Everett, Washington; Justin and his wife, Chris Gentry, Linda and her husband, Rick Marshall; Clark and his wife, Kerrie Gentry, Julia and her husband, Derek Howard, all ofSalt Lake City; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, two sisters, Mack Gentry and Joseph Gentry, both of Richfield; Mary Lou and her husband, Spencer Roberts, Cedar City; Ruby Jane and her husband, Dale Roberts, Lewistown, Montana. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, William "Bill" Gentry.

Funeral services Saturday, February 2, 1991, 1 p.m., in the Beaver 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 220 No. Main. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary in Richfield, Friday evening 7-9 p.m. and the ward chapel in Beaver from 11:30-12:30 p.m. Saturday morning. Burial: Richfield City Cemetery at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon with military rites by the Beaver American Legion Post No. 32 and the VFW Sevier Post 5050.
