A husband and wife are scheduled to go into space for the first time in history on a 1992 shuttle flight - unless NASA changes its mind. Astronauts Mark Lee, 38, and Jan Davis, 37, were married recently, and the wedding apparently caught some NASA officials by surprise. It's not clear if the space agency will allow the couple to blast off together on the same mission or be assigned different flights. "Mark and Jan are married, they've been married for several weeks," said NASA spokeswoman Barbara Schwartz. "This is unique because we've never assigned a couple of astronauts who are married to the same crew. Their assignment is under review, but there's nothing forthcoming right now." Lee, a shuttle veteran, and Davis, a rookie, were long ago named to the seven-member crew of the new shuttle Endeavour for a mission in September 1992.
