The Salt Lake office of Coldwell Banker was the 23rd-most-profitable office for the national company in 1990, according to Bill Chillingworth, vice president of brokerage services and resident office manager.

He said the Salt Lake office ranked second behind Bellevue, Wash., as the most profitable office in the Mountain Region."The strong national ranking of Coldwell Banker Commercial's Salt Lake office is a direct reflection of what is going on in the city overall," said Chillingworth.

elsewhere, Salt Lake is instead experiencing a positive turn-around, a turn-around on which our individual agents were well-positioned to capitalize because of their market dominance," he said.

These Coldwell Banker salespeople ranked high in the region: Eldon Haacke was No. 1 in land sales; Craig Thomas was in the top five in investment sales; Jim Clark ranked in the top 10 in retail sales; Rad Dye, Jim Sheldon and Mike Falk ranked in the top 20 in industrial sales; and Scott Wilmarth, John Longaker and Peggy Kowalski ranked in the top 20 in office sales.
