Frederick George Day, age 90, died January 28, 1991 in Provo.
Born May 14, 1900 in Cardiff, Wales to William and Annie Louisa Marsh Day. He married Mary Eleanor Richins, May 14, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Received his education in England, immigrated to the United States in 1921 after serving an LDS Mission in England from 1917-1919. For 16 years he worked at Columbia Steel at Ironton and 25 years at the Provo Power Plant. Active memeber of the LDS Church and was a High Priest. Served in many capacities including bishop's counselor and ward clerk for a number of years. He and his wife served as missionaries in the England London South mission in 1974-1975. They also served as Provo LDS Temple workers for several years.Survivors: wife, Provo; four sons, three daughters, Paul F. Day, Livonia, Michigan; Mrs. John M.

Day, Greeley, Colorado; Michael George Day, South Jordan; Mrs. Edward (Mary) Miller, Highland; 35 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Dean J. (Florence) Snyder, Santa Monica, Calif. Preceded in death by a grandson.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center, where friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
