Bill R. Curtis, 61, of Denver, Colorado, died January 26, 1991.

Born in Texas, March 10, 1929. Married Helen Marie Smith in Texas. His love of hunting and exploring mountains brought him to Salt Lake City in 1955. Self-employed in auto sales and auto glass, he enjoyed long work days. He enjoyed laughter, telling stories, friends, grandchildren and his independence. Loved hunting, fishing, playing poker with friends. He was a never tiring comedian. He was always energetic and eternally optimistic. Through the last 10 years of heart related illnesses, he had a strong will and strength to live. Dad's wit and optimism will be missed by all who knew him.Survived by wife, Colorado Springs; daughters, Carol Kurtzweil, Littleton, Colorado; Teresa Hendriksen, Park City; Janet Thompson, Mad River, California; three sons, Don, Steve and Billy; 16 grandchildren. Preceded in death by mother and father.

Services Wednesday, January 30, 1991 Woods Mortuary, Golden Colorado. A cremation will be done. His ashes will be scattered above the Bookcliff Mountains in Utah.
