Frank Lyndsey Fonger, age 72, passed away January 28, 1991, in a Tooele hospital.
Born November 11, 1918 in Tooele to Lyndsey Frank and Mary Alice Whear Fonger. He was a lifetime resident of Tooele. A veteran of World War II. He retired from Tooele International Smelter and Kennecott Copper as an electrician. He married Fern Yeats, August 9, 1940, in Tooele. Fathered four sons, Frank G., Eugene L. "Butch", Kenny L., and Leland D., one daughter, Clara Alice Smith, all of Tooele County. He later married Mary Abbott Eckman, in 1970. Then Beverly Wills Hansen, in 1976. All his wives preceded him in death. He was a member of the FOE LOOM, Elks and Senior Citizens of Tooele.Other survivors include 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles W., Tooele; Fred R., Salt Lake City.
He loved playing pool, fishing, hunting and camping. He loved his family and friends, and will truly be missed by all.
Funeral Services Friday, February 1, 11 a.m., Tate Mortuary Chapel in Tooele, where friends may call one hour prior to service. Interment: Tooele City Cemetery.
