BYU's Carl Hanson and Doug Hobbs along with Weber State's Bob Durtschi and Duane West are part of the 16-man all-academic cross country team named Monday by the NCAA Division I Men's Cross Country Coaches Association.

Hanson is a senior from Provo with a 3.80 grade-point average in health sciences. Hobbs is a junior from Mesa, Ariz., with a 3.61 GPA in zoology. Durtschi is a senior from North Logan with a 3.31 GPA in computer information systems. West is a sophomore from Middleton, Idaho, with a 3.63 GPA in electrical engineering.
