A. Dean Rose, 85, of Mammoth died January 27, 1991 in Provo.
Born September 29, 1905 in Mammoth, Utah to Arthur L. and Daisy Gough Rose. Married Dora Page August 1, 1936 in Nephi, Utah. Worked as a miner. Retired after 25 years as a carpenter at Dougway Proving Grounds. A member and Elder of the LDS Church.Survivors, wife, Mammoth; three daughters, Mrs. LaMar (Linnea) Lester, Mrs. Sterlin (Jannette) Hutchinson, both of Evanston, Wyoming; Mrs. Jerry (Carolee) Martin, Lake Havasu, Arizona; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Oscar Rose, Orem; Dan Rose, Granger; Mrs. Doyle (Lola Jean) Plott, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by a son, Walter; and daughter, Betty Jean; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services Thursday, January 31, 1991, 11 a.m. at the Eureka LDS Ward Chapel, in Eureka. Friends may call Wednesday evening 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Holladay Hills Funeral Home, 66 south 300 east, Santaquin, and Thursday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the chapel in Eureka. Interment, Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
