Edna Alda Halgren Larson, age 74, Gold Run, California, died January 24, 1991, in a one car accident in Macon, Georgia, where she and her husband, who is in critical condition, were serving a proselyting mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Born November 30, 1916 in Ogden, Utah to Joseph and Alice Aldous Halgren. Married Russell E. Larson, May 7, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She grew up in Cornish, Utah, and graduated from North Cache High School. She lived in Salt Lake City before and after their marriage. In 1965 they moved to Hayward, California, where she was a successful real estate agent. They retired to Gold Run, California in 1980. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crocheting, reading and travel.Survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Lenard H. (Katherine) Moss, Alhambra, Illinois; Mrs. Lorentz E. (Chrystine) Wormley, Rio Linda, California; one son, Anthony E. Larson, Madeline, California; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Tom (Alice) Roberts, Atlanta, Georgia; Mrs. Clinton B. (Ann) Wiest, Provo; three brothers, Dr. Jos. D. Halgren, Provo; Leon A. Halgren, Salt Lake City; and David A. Halgren, Ontario, California, currently serving an LDS mission to Yugoslavia.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 31st, 12 Noon, Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 pm, and one hour prior to services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the LDS Church Mission Fund, 50 East North Temple, SLC, Utah 84150.
