Frank Singleton Makin, age 80, died in Salt Lake City, Utah, January 26, 1991, while hospitalized.

Born July 28, 1910 in American Fork, Utah to Ervin W. and Lenore Pulley Makin. Married Erma Bullock on September 24, 1935 in Salt Lake City. Retired after 23 years as a sales representative from W.W. Grainger Company. Past Exalted Ruler of B.P.O.E. Lodge # 85. Presently a member of Bountiful Elks Lodge # 2442 and the Loyal Order of Moose. Former member of Footprinters Chapter 3. Member of the LDS Church.Survived by his wife of Salt Lake City; son, Craig S. (and wife, Karan) Makin, Humble, Texas; daughter, Judith (husband Finn) Andersen, Sandy; six grandchildren, Steven D. Andersen, Leslie Andersen (and fiance Joseph Cuglietta), Janet A. (husband, Michael) Whimpey; James S., John D., and Aaron F. Makin; brothers, Niles Russell Makin, Salt Lake City; and Ervin Wendell Makin, Anaheim, California; and a close sister-in-law, Gladys Bullock, Salt Lake City. "We dearly love you and we'll miss you Grandpa!"

Funeral services on Wednesday, January 30th, 12 noon, Larkin Chapel, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Tuesday evening 6-8 pm and Wednesday the hour prior to services. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
