An early morning chase with police Monday ended with two arrests and the recovery of a car the Utah Schools for the Deaf and Blind in Ogden had reported stolen.

A Murray police dispatcher said a sergeant on patrol noticed a suspicious vehicle at about 5600 South and Vine Street just after 3 a.m. that engaged him in a chase that ended at 4730 S. Holly Lane in unincorporated Salt Lake County. The police car was damaged in the chase, but there were no injuries. The 18- and 20-year-old male suspects had hearing impairments that complicated their arrest. They were both booked into the Salt Lake County Jail, the dispatcher said.

The car, a blue station wagon, was reported stolen from the school for the deaf and blind at 846 20th St. in Ogden. School officials have not confirmed whether the two men arrested are students at the school.
