Actor Clint Eastwood's popular Hog's Breath Inn, a tourist stop and watering hole for residents, has been put out of business until health violations are corrected.

Responding to a diner's complaint, sanitarian Dorinda Messinger of the Monterey County Health Department and an assistant conducted a full inspection of the bar and restaurant Thursday and revoked its permit indefinitely."The complaint said they were preparing food outdoors - onions, potatoes, that sort of thing," Mes-singer said.

Messinger said she found evidence of that, as well as: frozen shrimp and chicken being thawed outside in sunlight, cooked roast beef being stored at room temperature and other foods being stored at improper temperatures.
