A true angel on earth, Carol Lundgren Ratcliffe, age 61, passed away January 25, 1991 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born March 14, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Willard Carl and Luella Page Lundgren. Married John Cephus Ratcliffe, August 15, 1952 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were later divorced.Carol was a long time, loving, dedicated teacher at Layton Elementary. She loved her family, life, people, music and the out-of-doors. She was an active member of the LDS Church, holding many and varied church callings. She will be remembered for her qualities of patience, unconditional love, hard work, sense of humor, and fun-loving attitude.

Carol was the much loved mother of Mrs. Sally Bouck and her husband Stan, Sandy; Tina Jo Ratcliffe, Bountiful; Will Ratcliffe and his wife Amelda, Riverside, California; and Chris Ratcliffe, Bountiful. She was the treasured grandmother of five grandchildren and the precious sister of Barbara L. Dodd, Bountiful. Her Mother Luella P. Lundgren also survives her.

She was the priceless friend to so many.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 30, 1991 at 12:00 noon in the Bountiful 2nd Ward Chapel, 200 East 650 South. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary Chapel, 295 North Main, and Wednesday at the church 10:45 a.m.-11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
