Henry Alden "Jim" Miller, 82, died January 25, 1991 at his home.
Born September 11, 1908 in Herriman, Utah, to Thomas Henry and Rebecca Crane Miller. Married Ruth Day McGuire November 10, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He graduated from Jordan High School. Served in two Bishoprics and in the Branch Presidency of the Draper Rest Home. He was a member of the Draper Egg Producers Association and raised chickens for 25 years. He worked for the Jordan School District for 12 years. He loved horses and raised Registered American Saddlers. He loved his family and grandchildren, and he had many friends.Survivors: wife, Ruth; son Henry Robert and wife Sherrie Miller, Clearfield; Daughters, Mrs. Robert V. (Mary) Fowles, Bountiful; Mrs. Geraldine Sharples, Orem; Mrs. Michael S. (Becky) Grubb, Sandy; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; Sisters, Rachel Kirkpatrick, Pasadena, Calif.; Olive Dixon and Sarah Marcroft, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by parents, four brothers, one sister and one great grandson.
Funeral Services Tuesday, January 29, 11 a.m., in the Draper 7th and 12th LDS Ward Chapel, 12300 South 600 East, Draper. Friends and family may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Monday 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday at the ward chapel from 9:45 to 10:45 A.M. Burial will be in the Draper Cemetery.
