Ruth Johanna Cammack Hofmann, 69, died January 25, 1991, Salt Lake City.

Born October 19, 1922, daughter of Dagmar Thompson and George Cammack of Logan, Utah. Married K. Edward Hofmann, Jr. on May 1,1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She gave extensive volunteer service at the LDS General Board Relief Society, YWMIA, and Primary library. She served many yearsas Stake Librarian for the Wilford Stake, and Kenwood 1st Ward librarian. She also served in various positions within the ward.

She is survived by her husband, K. Edward Hofmann, Jr.; her eight children, Phyllis (Keith) Tondro, Susan (ElDean) Gale, Wayne (Tina) Hofmann, Ralph Hofmann, Karl (Debbie) Hofmann, Lewis (Linda) Hofmann, Beth (Roger) Brox, Jean Hofmann, and 13 grandchildren; onebrother, Alfred G. (Ellen) Cammack. Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 12 Noon, January 29,1991 at the Kenwood 1st Ward Chapel, 3080 South 1765 East, Salt Lake City. Family and friends are welcome to the viewing at WasatchLawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive on Monday evening between 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at the Church on Tuesday between 10:30-11:30a.m. Burial will be at Elysian Burial Gardens.
