William E. Kasenberg, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, age 65, passed away peacefully in his home January 23, 1991 in Taylorsville, Utah.
Born January 24, 1925 in Wichita, Kansas, son of James and Mabel Krapf Kasenberg. Married Shirleen Tingey April 12, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Attended Wichita High and Draftsman School. Served in the U.S. Navy. Worked at Kennecott Copper Corp. for 35 years retiring in 1985. He dedicated his life to his loving wife, children and grandchildren. He was an avid golfer with a zest for life and abundance of energy. He looked forward to spending his summers with his family and grandchildren at Echo Reservoir. He was loved and admired by all who knew him. We will miss him greatly and will always remember him.Survived by his wife, Shirleen and children, Mrs. Michael (Susan) Cutler and Jill Albiston, both of Salt Lake City; John Kasenberg, Oceanport, New Jersey; six grandchildren. Preceded in death by both parents.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, 12:30 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road and Saturday, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
