Maurice Mann Arbuckle, age 82, died Tuesday, January 22, 1991 at the home of his daughter, Ann Burton in Mechanicsville, Virginia.

He was born September 6, 1908 in West Bountiful, the son of James Shreeve and Chloe Mann Arbuckle. He married Berniece Kingdon on June 10, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died July 10, 1964. Married Leola Wyler November 24, 1973 in Salt Lake City.Mr. Arbuckle founded the Arbuckle Sheet Metal Co. after the war. He enjoyed farming; raising horses, particularly Appaloosa, and Thoroughbreds. Active in civic affairs, former president South Davis Chamber of Commerce. Enjoyed traveling to many parts of the world. Active LDS, served in many ward and stake callings, including Bishop's counselor and Bishop for many years; served a mission to East Central States and Gulf States missions.

He is survived by his wife, Leola, Murray; children, James R. and Julie; Lynn K. and Cheryl, all Fruit Heights; Kent K. and Maurine, of Centerville; Ann and Greg Burton of Mechanicsville, Virg.; step children, Doug and Kay Wyler of Diamond Bar, Calif.; Rhonda and Dan Snarr, Salt Lake City; 33 grandchildren, four currently serving LDS missions; and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert M. Arbuckle, and William M. Arbuckle; both Centerville. Preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26, at 12 noon, at the Murray 25th, LDS Ward, 363 East Vine St. Murray. Friends may call Friday evening, from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, and at the church on Saturday, 10:45-11:45 am. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
