Elma Jones Rose Duvall died January 23, 1991.

She was born February 10, 1903 in Nephi, Utah to Edward and Sarah Jane Tolley Jones. On September 25, 1940 she married James Roy Bell Rose. He preceded her in death in November 1951. She married Freeman Torrence (Tony) Duvall on March 23, 1964. He died in November 1978. Their marriage was solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple.Elma was a graduate of Nephi High School and attended Brigham Young University. She was a member of the Murray Ladies Lions Club. An active member of the LDS Church, she served as an organist all of her life. She was a member of the Tabernacle Choir and served an LDS Mission to the Washington DC LDS Temple at age 81 as well as serving as a Jordan River LDS Temple worker. Elma retired from the Utah State Liquor Commission and the VA Hospital.

Survivors: son, James Rose and his wife, Joyce, Cheyenne, Wyoming; daughter, Mrs. Dean (Jackie) Goodrich, West Jordan; stepson, Richard Duvall and his wife, Kay, serving an LDS Mission to Roanoke, Virginia; stepdaughter, Mrs. John (Carol) Brecken, Flagstaff, Arizona; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by eight brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26, 1991 at 11 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 So. State, where friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Vine Bluff Cemetery in Nephi at 1 p.m. Saturday.
