Richard Lynn Terry, 37, died January 23, 1991 in a Salt Lake hospital of leukemia.
He was born April 26, 1953 in Murray, Utah to Royal Bruce and Donna M. Smith Terry. On August 1, 1974, he married Kathleen Rogers in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Richard was a graduate of Granite High School, Class of 1971, and a journeyman sheetmetalist. He sang in the Mormon Youth Symphony and Chorus but his special love for music was seen when he sang with his parents and brothers. He loved hunting, fishing and a good joke, but he especially loved the Lord, his family and friends. He was active in the LDS Church, serving positions in the Sunday School and Elders Quorum presidency. Richard's love for life inspired all who were around him. We will all miss him very deeply.Survivors: wife, Kathy; daughters, Carolyn, Diane, Laura; son, Jason, all Sandy; parents; brothers and sister and their spouse, Robert, Stephen and Barbara, David and Ramona, Brian and Alana, Debra Peacock and Ron, Royal and Angie; grandmother, Vera Mae Smith, father and mother-in-law, Avard and Kay Rogers, all Salt Lake City; aunts and uncles; 35 nephews and nieces and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26, 1991, at 1 pm in the Willow Canyon 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 1880 East 9800 So. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, Friday 6-8 pm and Saturday at the ward chapel from 11:45-12:45 pm
