Permits to cut down pinon and juniper trees in the Fish Creek area for firewood are now available at the Price River Resource Area office of the Bureau of Land Management.

The office is located at 900 North Seventh East in Price and will be selling permits for $5 per cord of wood. At least two permits, for two cords of wood, must be purchased.The permits are good until Oct. 15 and are being issued as part of a wildlife project to provide additional forage for mule deer and other animals.
