The Utah Jazz, having sold out all but one home game this year, will raise ticket prices next year, a team official says.

Jay Frances, team vice president, told members of the Salt Palace Advisory Board on Tuesday that team owner Larry Miller had decided on the increase. He would not say how much prices would go up.Despite selling out nearly every game, the Jazz rank 16th in gate receipts out of the 23 teams in the National Basketball Association, Frances said.

"We recognize that is because we've held out prices for the past two years," he said.

Despite the increase, the team will continue to offer some "creative marketing concepts," Frances said. He would not elaborate.

"We'll see if people stay with us," he said.
