Two young children remained hospitalized late Friday with injuries received in a traffic accident Thursday morning that claimed the life of a 2-year-old girl.

Natalie Graves, 2, died of injuries she received when the vehicle she was riding in drifted to the right on 5400 South and struck a utility pole near 3800 West. Debbie Daugherty, 27, the driver, was also injured. She was released from Pioneer Valley Hospital Friday.Tadd Daugherty, 5, remained in serious but stable condition in the intensive care unit at Primary Children's Hospital. Bryce Daugherty, 18 months, was in good condition at the hospital and was expected to be released Saturday, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Deputy sheriffs said Friday that the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
