A 2-year-old girl injured Thursday morning in a one-car accident has died.
Natalie Grames, 2, address unavailable, was riding in a car driven by Debbie Daugherty, 27, 3155 S. 8950 West.Daugherty was westbound on 5400 South about 9 a.m. when the car drifted to the right and struck a utility pole near 3800 West.
The impact broke the girl's neck and seriously injured two other children in the car, Bryce Daugherty, 18 months, and Tadd Daugherty, 5, said Salt Lake County Sheriff's Lt. Bernard Hahn.
All three children were taken to Primary Children's Medical Center, where the Grames child died Thursday afternoon. The Daugherty boys were in serious but stable condition Friday.
Debbie Daugherty was taken to Pioneer Valley Hospital, where she was in stable condition Friday.
Hahn said the cause of the accident is still under investigation, as is the question of whether the children were in child-safety seats or seat belts.
