Newly appointed Kuwaiti ambassador in Beirut Ahmad Abdel Aziz al Jassem predicted Thursday that his occupied country will be liberated within days.
"Kuwait will be liberated very soon," Jassem said in a statement after he delivered credentials to Lebanese Foreign Minister Fares Bwaiz in Beirut. "We will be in the Kuwait city within days."As a result of Jassem's delivering of diplomatic papers to the Lebanese government, the Kuwaiti Embassy in Beirut reopened after more than five years.
The embassy was shut down as a result of a wave of terrorist attacks that broke out in 1984 by pro-Iranian activists.
