The Salt Lake Golden Eagles, having scored only three goals in their last three games, continued their midseason scoring slump in losing to the Milwaukee Admirals, 3-1 Wednesday night.
The Admirals snapped a six-game losing streak with the win, dropping the Eagles to 24-21-3 on the season.The only Salt Lake goal of the game came when the Eagles' Paul Kruse scored on a power play 18:11 into the third period. Kruse's goal broke an 0-12 Salt Lake power-play string.
Milwaukee goalie Steve McKichan posted 34 saves, improving his record to 8-5-1, and snapped Marc Bureau's 13-game point streak.
The Eagles finish their seven-game road stretch Friday at Kalamazoo when they take on the Wings.
