Black, greasy rain poured on an Iranian coastal province, caused by burning Kuwaiti oilfields, the Iranian news agency IRNA said Wednesday.

It said the black rain fell on Bushehr province, about 160 miles east of Kuwait, for 10 minutes Tuesday."According to environment specialists here, the rain was black and greasy because of the fire in the Kuwaiti oil wells and other areas in the Persian Gulf region," IRNA said in a report from Bushehr port.
