Helen Swenson Ream, born March 14, 1904 and died January 20, 1991. Was the daughter of Swen Larson and Susan Elizabeth Brown Swenson.

Married Milton P. Ream, July 29, 1929. They lived in San Lorenzo, Calif. where they reared a family of one girl and four boys. She was active in church affairs, which she enjoyed; and was an especially outstanding teacher. She worked with her husband, who was the first Stake President of the Hayword and San Leandro Stakes in Calif. and later a counselor in the Oakland LDS Temple presidency. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1976. Since November of 1978 she has been living with her daughter in Provo.She is survived by her daughter and two sons, Susan E. Ream, Provo; Allen K. Ream, Woodside, Calif.; and John Ream, San Lorenzo, Calif.; one sister Beth Driggs, Pleasant Grove; three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Milton P. Ream, Jr., and Russell D. Ream; one brother, Russell Swensen and one sister Dorothy Swenson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 12 noon at the Oak Hills 2nd LDS Ward, 1600 No. 900 East, Provo. Friends may call at the church on Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment, Lone Pine Cemetery, Hayward, Calif. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the BYU Library. Under the direction of Berg Mortuary of Provo.
