Our beloved Anna Sandman Vander Waal, 85, passed away January 21, 1991 after her daughter's home in Centerville, Utah after a long illness.

She was born January 8, 1906 in Dordhrecht, Netherlands to Albertus Sandman and Pleuntje Kraal. She married Daniel Vander Waal on February 19, 1931 in Dordrecht, Netherlands; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church. She and her husband served an LDS Mission to The Netherlands.She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Adriana and her husband, Charles Fuller, of Centerville; Pearl and her husband, Virgil Hunt of West Weber; 10 grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She is also survived by two brohters, Barend Sandman of The Netherlands; Arie Sandman of Ogden; three sisters, Maartje Jansen of The Netherlands; Neeltje Straatman of North Salt Lake and Nellie Uitdenbogaard of Ogden.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 24, 1991 at 11 a.m. at the 52nd LDS Ward, located at 26th and Jackson Avenue. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Thursday at the church from 9:30 to 10:30. Interment: Washington Heights Memorial Park.
