Grant Eugene Degelbeck, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed on peacefully Saturday, January 19, 1991, in Salt Lake City.

Born October 15, 1933, in Lehi, Utah to John Henry and Alice Ann Young Degelbeck. He attended schools in Lehi, Ophir, and Tooele. Married Jeannette Johnson; later divorced. Married Margene Orr in 1970. Sweethearts together are they.Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Edward and Pamela Wanlass, Pamela Hansen, Brad and Vikki Hansen, Monty Degelbeck and Trina Elder, Lyle and Shelly Hansen, Sgt. J. Erik and Marilyn Hansen; grandchildren, Ray and Racheal Silva, Kaed, Amy, Robert, Crystal, Jodi, Alexandrea, Emy, Adam, Kevin, Stefhanie, and Zachery; great-grandchildren, Felicity, Michael, Grant; brothers and sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Degelbeck, Lehi; Mr. and Mrs. Myron S. Taylor, Draper; Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Jonson, Highland; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hall, Kanab; Mrs. Helen Degelbeck, Ophir; Mrs. Dorothy Degelbeck, Kearns. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Merlin, Edwin, Glen, sister, Orma Vario, and his two sons, Carl and Kevin. His family loves him, and will miss him greatly.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 11 a.m., in the Rush Valley LDS Ward. Friends may call Tate Mortuary, Tooele, Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m., and Thursday, one hour prior at the church. Interment, St. John Cemetery.
