Beloved grandmother, Edith Otilia Rosell Stewart, age 97, passed away Jan. 18, 1991, at a Salt Lake City care center.

Born on June 16, 1893, in Salt Lake City to Charles J. and Sophia Hall Rosell. Attended Salt Lake schools and married J. Frank Stewart April 29, 1916. After a number of years in the cattle business, J. Frank and Edith purchased a ranch in Evanston, Wyoming, which is still operated by grandsons.Edith was preceded in death by her two brothers, Henry and Carl Rosell, her sister, Bertha Rosell McMelroy, her daughter, Vivian S. Hayduk, and her son, Dr. James C. Stewart.

Surviving are: Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Edith was a lifetime member of the Daughters of the Eastern Star.

A graveside burial will be held in Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Thursday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m.
