Wendell M. Nance, 85, formerly of Kaysville, passed away Thursday, January 17, 1991 at his home.

He was born August 21, 1905 in Kaysville, Utah, a son of Ulyisses and Vincent and Nellie Maliyn Nance. He married Loraine Duncan, October 23, 1929 in the Logan LDS Temple. He had lived in Kaysville for 75 years and in Ogden the past ten years. He graduated from Davis High School where he was valedictorian of his class. He also attended the University of Utah. He had been an accountant for over 60 years. He was an active member of the Ogden 61st LDS Ward and had served as Sunday School president, home teacher, ward clerk, counselor in the bishopric and stake auditor. He had been a member of the Kaysville City Council.Surviving are: his wife of Ogden; two sons and one daughter, Paul and wife, Dorothy Nance, Blen and wife, Lynne Nance, all of Brigham City; Ann and husband, Don Davis, Pleasant View, 21 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three great-grandchildren, a sister and his parents.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 21, 1991 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist & Sons Colonial Chapel, 3408 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah and on Monday at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary one hour prior to the services. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
