The state Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing has issued stipulation and orders settling charges of unprofessional conduct against three contractors.
- VanderVeur Insulation has agreed to a two-year probation of its license. The company can still operate, but it must remove any attic cards that misrepresent the brand of insulation that was installed, the order said. VanderVeur has also agreed to reimburse the state $500 for investigation costs.- Gregory Gallagher of Drywall Application, accused of contracting without a license, has agreed not to submit bids or ply his trade for jobs that require a license until he obtains a license. He also agrees to pay a $100 fine for contracting without a license.
- Bruce A. Sieverts of Sieverts Electric, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating, has agreed to a two-year probation of license and a $200 fine. He can remain in business while on probation. Sieverts, a master electrician, is accused of installing a water heater - a job restricted to licensed plumbers.
