Arlene Hummel Greenhalgh, 85, Salt Lake City, Utah, died at home January 15, 1991.

Born March 20, 1905, Pleasant Grove, Utah to Roger Robert and Carolyn Elizabeth Kathryn Olsen Hummel. She married Henry L. Greenhalgh, October 9, 1946 in Salt Lake City. Marriage solemnized July 3, 1959 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died February 4, 1985. She was an artist. Member of Intermountain Arts Association. Member Southern Western Utah Arts Council. Was a renowned artist among Artists Southern Western Landscape and the Virgin River Rock Paintings. She was a beautician and she illustrated manuals for beauty schools. Active member LDS Church and a temple worker at the Jordan River Temple.Survivors: Sons, David R. Devine, Reno, Nevada; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Grant (Marion) Van Uitert.

Funeral services Saturday, January 19, 1991 at 1 p.m. Holladay Hills Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin. Friends call one hour prior to services. Interment: Santaquin City Cemetery.
