James Richard Register, born October 3, 1948 to Mary Gail Halfhill Brown in Lancaster Ohio, died at his home, January 13, 1991.
He served with the US Army during the Vietnam conflict and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He suffered from wounds received during the conflict. He was loved greatly by all who knew him. He was devoted to his mother. Enjoyed gardening, automobiles, photography and art.May he at last rest in peace, for he was a good man who earned the largest portion in heaven.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Gail Brown of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 18, 1991, at 1 p.m. at MacKay Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, where friends may call Friday, at noon. Burial will follow at MacKay Lake Hills Memorial Park.
